This is the fastest way to dub; no other method will form bodies as sparse and fuzzy. It is used for the bodies on Sparkle Pupa patterns. It is an absolutely essential part of the Double Magic dubbing technique.

The yarn or fur has to be chopped into small bits by hand and then tossed into a blender. The tier uses a tacky wax (for example, BT’s Super Tacky) to coat the tying thread, and then he holds a ball of the finely cut dubbing mix and touches that ball to the sticky thread. His fingers never touch the thread – just the dubbing ball. That's it! Don’t be afraid of the sparseness. Just wrap the fuzzy thread onto the hook shank.
