Shipping Charge: We used to offer free shipping until UPS started snapping our rods literally in half. We switched from a hard-sided box to plastic PVC drain pip. Let's see them break one of those -- it's rod against machine! This did increase the packaging cost plus the shipping weight. So we now have to charge $10 for insured shipping, but your rod doesn't arrive in more pieces than orders -- please provide a street address with order.
