Great news! Our fly box is back and better than ever~

It pained us when we were forced to discontinue our original Bristle-Tac Fly Box. Bristle-Tac is a product made by 3M who is a the parent company for Scientific Anglers. We thought this was a great match, since we liked how the Bristle-Tack performed and since it was produced by a company with connections in the fly-fishing industry—it would mean great availability. Not so.

Not to be satisfied with just any fly box, we searched high and low and while it did take us a while, finally found a box with similar material to Bristle-Tac with the added bonus that we could get it imprinted with our LaFontaine logo. The material has changed names from "Bristle-Tac" to "Hook-Lock".

The Hook-Lock system is far superior to any other fly box and is so durable that it will literally last indefinitely. The revolutionary Hook-Lock material holds any regular wire hook from size #6 to #18 and makes it easy to insert and remove flies. The system allows for great air flow so hooks that have seen some action dry quickly, eliminating rusty hooks. It will also hold barbless hooks firmly because it grabs the wire of the hook, not the barb—plus the material is so durable it won't get torn up.
