6th Annual Ride for Life 2003 • May 10th-18th
May 16th • pre-game ceremony at Yankee Stadium

The Ride spans 160 miles over nine days during which ALS patients, caregivers, family, and friends participate in an annual trek from the Montauk Point Lighthouse, on the tip of Long Island, with a breathtaking walk across the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan, ending at the Steven Weiss Synagogue where we will have our beautiful and moving Ecumenical ALS Candlelight Vigil Prayer Service. The New York Yankees organization, which since the beginning, has been a strong and loyal supporter of Ride for Life's efforts to help find a cure for ALS, have once again agreed to to honor the participants of Ride for Life 2003 with a special pre-game ceremony at Yankee Stadium on May 16th.

And you don't have to be in New York to take part in Ride for Life 2003. People from all over the country are invited to plan activities in their local communities to raise ALS awareness and funds to support research and patient services. They can show you how. To date Ride for Life has raised more $500,000. All monies go directly into our ALS research and patient service programs because everyone at Ride For Life serves as a volunteer.
